Come Together: Gathering the Threads of Activism & Community through the Generations celebrates Portland’s LGBTQIA2S+ pasts and presents. Curated by Oregon Queer History Collective, this exhibition draws inspiration from Gilbert Baker’s 1979 Pride Flag to find moments of authentically living life, healing, connecting with nature, enjoying art, and uplifting spirits in our archives and among the community. The blend of historical and contemporary materials gathered in this exhibition reflects our ongoing efforts to document queer experiences.
